I wanted a BIG inspiration board in my craft room, so I taped off a section on the wall and used magnetic paint. After 6 coats (directions say 3!) and a covering coat of regular paint, I had a big magnetic board right on my wall. Next I purchased some molded foam wall trim at Lowe's and had my neighbor cut it on his miter-box saw. I glued and caulked the corners to make a large but lightweight frame. I stuck those handy Command stickers on the back of the frame and placed it on the wall over my magnetic rectangle.
I then went through my spare buttons jar and picked out some coordinating buttons. I hot-glued magnets on the back of the buttons to have cute little magnets ready for posting things to my magnetic wall.
