A Fish Tale, part 2

After we had Bob the Betta for a couple of weeks, I realized how much I enjoyed watching him swim around. It is really calming. I tried to talk Braxton into letting me move Bob downstairs so that we could enjoy him more throughout the day. No such luck. :(

Soooooo....I bought another betta - for myself. :D

He's a fiesty red betta with turquoise accents, very pretty. I named him Owen. I bought him a 5 gal hexagon tank that you can view on all sides. I found this really cool faux coral structure that he likes to swim in and out of and added some plants around the coral for hiding so that he feels safe. He resides on my breakfast bar in the kitchen and I get to talk to him all day long. He does this little squiggle dance down to the bottom of the tank, which is hilarious. Who knew I was a fish person after all?

My betta, Owen.

Puff "keeping an eye" on Owen! (Thank goodness there is a lid on the tank!)
